420: Los Angeles Wildfires – Street People Of Los Angeles

“How Did the Los Angeles Wildfires of 2025 Get Out of Control?” The Los Angeles wildfires of 2025 devastated the city, leaving many wondering: how did things spiral so far out of control? In this episode, we sit down with Paul, the independent journalist behind the popular Instagram account Street People of Los Angeles, which documents the city’s crime, homelessness, and urban decline. In a rare and candid interview, Paul shares his insights on the policies and decisions that may have paved the way for this disaster. Was it the leadership of Mayor Karen Bass? The influence of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives? Budget cuts? Or the role of LAFD Chief Kristin Crowley? Paul argues that the roots of this crisis were planted years ago and explores how Los Angeles’s policies may be setting a dangerous precedent for other cities across the nation. This is a thoughtful, eye-opening conversation about urban management, policy failures, and the broader implications for cities everywhere. Tune in to hear the story behind the smoke.

415: Drone Hunting On Long Island

Drone and UFO sightings have been the rage on Long Island, New York, Rockland County, New York, New Jersey and other suburban areas along the East Coast. Most disturbing seems to be a versatile single passenger aircraft the size of a small car. Tom Kelly and Steve Burger go out to Bay Park in East Rockaway, Long Island New York near John F Kennedy airport to see if they can spot any drones. The two discuss “drone hysteria”. Are these aircraft military, civilian or alien? Is this all hysteria? Are drone hunters increasing the amount of false drone sightings? Should the media be doing more to investigate this? We may not get you any answers. But you should be able to have a laugh by the end of this show!
