436: Roosevelt Field, Unsold Teslas and Feuding With Verizon on Long Island

Verizon’s customer service is so bad, Tom Kelly suspects it’s secretly run by Mint Mobile. Joined by the brilliantly dry Steve Burger at Roosevelt Field — the last thriving mall on Long Island — Tom unloads about tech drama, AI sabotage, exploding boba, and content creation chaos. Yes, we talk Teslas. Yes, Tom has GPS trust issues. Yes, we buy mangoes in traffic.

Edibles, Exes, and the Friend Zone – Olga Namer – Olga Namer Part III

Comedian Olga Namer joins Tom Kelly for a wildly funny and disarmingly honest episode of The Tom Kelly Show. They dive into Long Island nightlife, Jewish family expectations, dating disasters, TikTok comedians, and the shame of wearing a Breathe Right strip in bed. The edibles are in full effect, but so is the heart. Comedy, chaos, and a crash course in boiling the perfect egg—this one has it all.

365: Mark McEwen – Weathering Life’s Adventures

Mark McEwen was the weatherman on CBS’s Morning News Show in the late 1990s and 2000s.  Tom referenced Mark McEwen in his first “big” comedy show, an NBC Page Talent Show hosted by NBC’s Today Show weatherman Al Roker.

Tom has always been curious about Mark McEwen as he was a television fixture and his name was mentioned in a crucial moment of Tom’s career.  Tom learns about how Mark got to CBS and how he has handled life after a massive stroke.  They also talk about how a stand up comedy show at Bonkerz Comedy Club in Orlando was a moment for both of them to “get back to the fun” in 2024.
